heya people. :))
i know i have been posting increasingly dry comments on this blog fer the past few weeks. if you have been observant enough, the entries also became increasingly desperate. aha.
well. it was THE promos! sigh. let's just not go thru all that again and relive those awwwful (and cold!) memories of the exams held in the hall. all that furious scribbling, the deathly silence, hacking coughs (albeit once in awhile) and silent/muted looks of desperation on the candidates' faces will stay locked in my memory fer a very long time. aargh.
well. at least it's over! yeahh. :) phew.
i have left alot of stuff till after the promos. this being just but one on my 'to-do' list. haha.
i am also looking forward to the inter-house games tmr. kai and I signed up fer basketball. haha. Callisto will just wish they didn't have house members like us by the time we get thru this. aha. hopefully kai will remember not to bounce the ball too many times and pass to the CORRECT people. ;)
anyhow, my main objective today is to talk of, of course, Michael Buble! *whistles. haha.
kai, my sis and I attended his one time only concert yesterday. and, boy, was it FANTABULOUS! yep. :)) i simply cannot describe and even begin to explain how amazing the concert was. how amazing HE is. i fell in love with his voice just over and over again during the concert. it's deep, rich, and oh-so sexy. haha. YES. his voice is the ult. and, to top it all off, he had to showcase this cheeky, witty and infinitely better side of himself during the intervals between songs. we had a ball of a time just listening to that crrrazy Canadian accent of his and gettin cracked up by his naughty jokes. aha. i mean, who can resist?!
the concert was magnifique! excellent. an hour (or so) of pure entertainment. a celebration of the joys of music. and a gathering of music lovers in general.
yep. i LOVED it.
maybe that explains why i was just kinda daydreaming and slightly woozy when i completed my MCQ econs paper today. haha. YES. i sacrificed my econs MCQ+DRQ paper fer Michael. well. i will be obstinate and insist that it was worth it. uh-huh. although it was kinda scary to look at your PROMOTIONAL economics MCQ paper for the first time and stare at it fer 5 mins without doing anything. oh well. *shurgs*
i've decided that my lucky stars are out tonight. i had two wonderful days in a row! yep. with dear Michael's concert yesterday and 4EA'04's outing today. okay, well, it's not technically a 4EA outing since a lot of people were MIA. hmmm. but, yeah, it was uplifting to meet old friends and just catch up. yep. we lunched and caught a movie. it sounds a lil' too boring but hey, i caught myself smiling all the way back home. come to think of it, i must have looked like an idiot. haha. smiling my head off. but that's what you guys do to me! :)
love ya guys!! hopefully, we can meet up again. it certainly perks up one's day. aha.
oooh yeahh. lemme announce this: i have a mini(yes, mini) crush on Raul. yes, the Real Madrid/Spain captain. whhoo! yeahh man. he is HOT. haha. okay. lemme stop there.
can't wait till the weekend till i see him again! oh pleeease let Spain qualify.
actually, Gerrard's pretty cute too. haha. but that's another story fer another day. ;)
now, dear reader, stop rolling your eyes. you know who you are. can't you let yours truly have some fun after her demanding and oh- so boring promotional exams?? haha. let my blood pressure and heart jump a little. it deserves a workout after staying dormant fer so long a time.
well. Europe trip's comin. hmmmm. isn't what i expected but i will definitely try to make the most out of it. haha. no, don't read between the lines here. i don't want you to.
may my day not be spoiled again.
and this goes out to all the kids out there who still have upcoming exams. i've been there, done most of it.
DON'T panic and give youself some space/time to recollect your thoughts and calm down.
