it's been a pathetically boring weekend. couldn't go to work, celebrate PW's birthday or attend band prac today. awww shucks. all because of this damn flu bug.
well, nvm. let's not harp on such a miserable issue.
England defeated Argentina! ohh yEAH. hmmm. although it was a friendly, you could tell the players were really serious about the whole darn game. a lot of bad blood between these two teams, you see. mebbe that's why the game's held in neutral Geneva, Switzerland. haha.
i'm so proud of Gerrard. he played well. ((: one of his better games actually. i loved the way he set up that second goal! yay.
hmmm. speaking of football players, *sigh
just heard about that sex scandal involving Terry and a teenager(our age).
hmph!
wadda hell. and he's engaged. oh for goodness' sake. can't people just stay faithful to their significant other for once?!!
i mean, hell, i haven't seen one scrap of evidence which points to the fact that men can keep their hands to themselves and stay monogamous when they're in a relationship. but, hey, i'm sure we women aren't much better off either.
mebbe we human beings just aren't meant fer monogamy. ya think? there's always that 'other fish in the sea' concept going around. i take that to mean that you can never stay satisfied with whatever you have. we humans are just like that. isn't it so? don't you remember getting that awesome toy truck when you were a kid, only to want an even bigger one once you've played with it fer awhile? we all have such greedy tendencies. it must be inborn.
it's the same for relationships/partners/spouses and so on.. we are never satisfied with what we have.
cuz that's exactly how i behaved at one of the most impt, precious times of my life.
well, you'll never guess it, but it was a total, terrible mistake.
and i've learnt from it.
oh hell. i still want to be an idealist then. let's just see what'll happen.
