oh darn.
i woke up this morning, all ready to go to school and all, but guess what?
i felt worse than i did on Friday. ):
dammit!!!
i hate the fact that today's gonna be a LONG day. i hate the fact that i'll be missing important lessons. i hate knowing that i'll have to catch up with the rest!
the bottom line: i hate missing lessons.
sigh.
so that's why i'm gonna make sure i do nothing strenous today. i'll sleep/rest the day away so that i won't have to miss any more lessons!
uuurgh.
anyway, i just wanted to blog about last night's match. no, i didn't catch it. it ended at 2am for goodness' sake! i was not feeling well by then.
but i read the article and i'm just so upset!!
why can't Liverpool beat Chelsea??! sigh. actually, my heart doesn't go out to the Liverpool team, just to their captain. aha. (;
but i bet Gerrard was just so totally upset. awww. poor thing. i sincerely hope i don't catch the replay, for my sake.
oh boy. but i know my dear Arsenal is due to play Liverpool pretty soon. oh SHUCKS. how i am ever gonna stand that day i won't ever know. ahhh. nvm. i'll just wait till that day comes before i do anything abt it.
anyhow, you know all that uproar over the publication of those cartoon drawings depicting Prophet Muhammad? well. i can't seem to agree more with the Muslims. okay, granted, their reaction to this publication was slightly over-the-top. i wouldn't condone burning the embassies and staging protests outside Danish buildings and the consulates.
BUT, i do think that the Danish should have thought twice before publishing such shocking material. okay, so here comes the debate over freedom of expression and the liberty to do as we choose.. yet, i do believe that there is a limit to this freedom. no matter what, we have to respect our fellow men's beliefs and religions. we cannot and must not show our contempt in such a silly way!
and to publish it at such a time! the timing couldn't have been worse. why now when terrorists, are, more often that not, linked to this other group of people konwn as "Muslim fanatics"? it would be APPARENT that these Muslims would get touchy over such a controversial and shameful subject.
sigh.
