i HATE being sick.
but i couldn't do anything about it, to the extent that i had to apply fer early leave today. no, correction, Ms Huda asked me if i wanted to go back home.
seriously, thank God she asked!
am still feeling blue and, as i'm typing this, i'm sniffing pathetically with this large box of tissues at my elbow.
uurgh. enough with the misery.
i just wanted to say that i'm reading like, 3 books at one time right now and all 3 books are uber cool. ((:
am reading poems by Yeats, this other book by Oscar Wilde and The Historian. haha.
okay, so i'll try my best to finish The Historian, since Suneeta is waiting oh-so patiently fer it.
oh yes. and today, Ms Huda showed us this essay by our senior, and i'm just very envious right now. no matter how many good books i try to read and no matter how hard i try to immerse myself in the English language, i don't think i ever can reach his level. sigh.
why are some people gifted beyond their years?
while there are people like me, someone with no gifts whatsoever.
ooh. life IS unfair.
