oh man. oh man!
it's 5am in the morning and i can't sleep! no way in hell am i gonna try anyway. heh.
we did it! we're through to the Champs League final!
Thank God.
ya know, i think this match was one of the WORST matches i've ever watched. all i did was bite my nails and cover my face when the Villarreal players had the ball in possession. which is practically close to the entire match! i really couldn't bear to see Villarreal score. and they didn't! which is great. heh. :)
i actually thought that Franco guy had a good game. he looked like he wanted a goal so badly. and i can't help but feel a slight twinge of sympathy when i saw his tear-stricken face after the final whistle had blown. sigh. he played so hard!
but i guess you can say that, this time round, Arsenal really had lots of damn luck. really. it was lucky fer us that those Villarreal strikers didn't find the target today. and that Lehmann is a magnificent goalie! and that Riquelme, for once, made a mistake.
oh God. oh God. when the referee gave the penalty at the 90th minute, i think i almost had a cardiac arrest! i mean, how can he trust that loser of a striker Jose Mari?!!
dumb dumb LOSER. all that Mari guy ever knows is to roll on the floor, pretending to grimace in pain after a challenge that didn't happen. sheesh. i wanted to floor him there and then when he smiled after he knew that a penalty had been given. i would have given ANYTHING to just break his nose there and then. and i'm not a violent person!
aynway, you really should have heard me. i was half-screaming to my sister about the penalty. cuz it's in the 90th minute! and it was SUPER harsh cuz i thought Clichy did well against that loser of a Mari. and i thought that Riquelme would score! it's HIM. Juan Roman Riquelme. and i really thought, there and then, "we're so dead."
but no, Lehmann saved the penalty! he DID! and i declared to my sis that i now officially love Lehmann. haha. that, was simply heart-stopping!
the only thing that i also really got angry about was the dumb Barca fan who came on in the second half. how DARE he?! Henry's not friggin in Barca yet! he hasn't said anything about his future with the club! and it's the second half of a really tense semi-final match! i wanted to throw something at the tv. better yet, i wanted to pummel that dumb Barca fan to pieces. sheesh.
no offence to Barca though.
anyway, however much i hate to say this, but i really think Henry will go elsewhere next season. and when that moment finally comes, my heart will break. :(
but until then, Paris, HERE WE COME. :))
did i tell you that i love Lehmann? heh. ;)
