heeelo people.
is it me or is the haze gettin to us all? mann, i swear everyone seems more irritable now.. or mebbe it's just the oncoming A's. *shrugs*
whatever it is, i sure am gettin really annoyed. visibility is this much and the problem doesn't seem to be abating! it's apparently really bad over at my place especially.. my mum got so freaked out she even contemplated staying in a hotel for the night. :/ uhhh.. i'm not that affected by the haze yet, but i will be, pretty soon.
*mutters darkly*
oh hell. it's 27 days more the the start of the 'As. heh. not good! i wish i could panic, but it's more than that; it's a bone-deep fear that i'll not meet up to my expectations.. that's the only kind of expectations you'd want to live up to right?
school has become a chore. i mean, i wouldn't want to go to school to hear teachers predicting our dark and dreary ends, no thank you. if i have problems with my writing, i sure as hell will not be told such stuff with only 27 days to go. dammit. i really wish we could have these weeks free. if i really do have problems with my writing and writing techniques, (which, of course, i do) i'd want to have a good 1 or 2 hours to myself and the teacher to sort out my problems and to work them out. :/
but i guess i can't complain.. so i'm still going to school next week. i will try to find a way not to freeze myself to death in the library, where all muggers rule and you have to be unnaturally quiet. :/ but since i've noticed i tend to be more productive in this 'most sacred of learning sanctuaries', i'll be sticking to the mug-in-the-library-till-you-burn-out routine till the 'As.
i seriously swear this whole haze thing was timed to coincide with us mugging this last lap for the A's. i know, i know, conspiracy theories and all aside, as Mel Gibson once said in "Signs": 'there is no such thing as a coincidence'. hmmm. i was philosophical for once. cool! (X
anyway, speaking of pollution and climate stuff (is this another coincidence or what?), there's this new movie coming out soon. it's called "An Inconvenient Truth". some movie about climate change. haha. i think i'm watching it with JF soon. uber cool. ((: will post the movie ad/poster thing later..
well. let's just hope England win tomorrow night and Gerrard scores. that'd make my weekend. oh yeah. and i hope the haze clears off soon. preferably right NOW.
