oops.
haha. i just read my previous post and i wonder how lucid my mind was when i made my blog post. :/ but that's okay! i've gotten over it. it's now my sister's turn to get hung up on Laguna Beach.
today, instead, will be my very usual update on everything to do with football. YAY. haven't done that in a long long while..
hmmmm. i shan't talk about my team's defeat. very heart-breaking. :(( i just knew something was going to go wrong! it was Bolton after all and i can still remember the defeat we came away with last season at the Reebok Stadium. bah. well, we came away with a defeat once again. damn.
anyway, i'd much rather talk about yesterday's highly-anticipated match instead. mann. i dislike both teams but i just gotta say that i realised my true feelings for Man Utd last night. haha. i seriously dislike Man Utd more than Chelsea. but that's another story for another day. i'd rather talk about the match. *grins* they drew! PHEW. very good result for fans of other teams. that includes me, of course. :)
okay okay, i admit i was secretly supporting Chelsea last night but that's between me and you alright? X) for the record, the draw is a very good result.
i actually agree with Mourinho (i think that's a first for me) that Carvalho should be man of the match. except for that really silly mistake he made when his poor defending led to the Saha goal, i thought he was a rock in the defense, very much like Terry. i seriously fancy the Terry-Carvalho defense partnership. they're very good together. :) also, of course, i won't put Carrick down because i think he did a good job marshalling midfield. he made tackles and interceptions at the most important moments and that's what expected of him right? err, yeah.
the ref did a good job too controlling a game that could have gone out of hand. it was pretty obvious that tempers were flaring throughout the game.
anyhow, good result overall. i'll just hope Arsenal will do well in the upcoming big matches too. *crosses fingers*
in the meantime, i'll worry about my prom dress some more and enjoy the rainy afternoon at the same time. YAY. (:
