hello!!!!
i have, superficially of course, gotten over the prom setback. apparently, LOADS of other people ended up in the same boat as me: nowhere to go after the prom and forced to either demean myself and go home after one of the most important nights of my JC life or slack around with friends with no proper place in mind, drinking the night away.. haha. of course, i chose the former, as all of you would have probably imagined.
anyway, enough about the prom! not going to be deterred by that special (if you can call it special) day. i will instead talk about post-prom stuff.
my mum bought my sis and i new beds and a wardrobe!!! YAY. so now when i go into my room, i can smell fresh fresh wood. SIGGHh. that must be one of my favourite smells in the whole wide world. haha. ((:
i went for my ACM interview today too. mann. the guy interviewing me had such nice hazel eyes, i was staring at it the whole time. haha. actually, i'm not even sure they're hazel. but it's just different from the usual dark brown/black variety and so of course i was fascinated by it. heh. (: i passed the interview anyway!!
YAY.
gonna work at ACM for a total of 2 months! wheeeeeee. am really very piqued about the entire thing. work officially starts on the 3rd of January and so i've vowed to myself to keep my last remaining December days as un-stimulating as possible. let's just hope that's possible.
and lastly, i went to Mindcafe too. it was really cool. *sniggers* Justin and i trashed the other guys like 3 times out of 5 or 6 for this particular game. but i gotta admit Darren trashed us in the other train game. ( see Darren? i didn't put u down. hmph. it's your turn!) overall though, it's a really good place to go to. too bad Dennis and Fish came too late. must must bring Kai and my siblings some other day. ((: i need to feel superior. haha! (X
okay, yes, that's it. other than the disastrous cooking lesson that i got from my grandma today, where my grandma told me never(NEVEEEERRR) to attempt to cook curry, (my own grandma! you'd think she'd be more encouraging. sheesh) i guess i've had a pretty high-spirited day.
