bah, humbug.
Christmas cheer must not be getting around this time of the year, what with the so-so prom i just attended.
imagine: the most (well, supposedly) important day of my JC life and i come back by 1am. HAH. how stupefying is that?! there was no post-prom party to go to, restaurants were taking their last orders by the time we reached there, and, worst of all, we all had to walk to these inaccessible places in God-knows-how-high shoes. my feet hurt. )):
but i guess i have only myself to blame. i could have chosen the post-prom party beforehand and thought of my shoes, if nothing else. i guess it's just not a good idea to point fingers at anyone here in so public a domain.
prom was okay. the imperative word being okay. it started on time! that's a plus. but i guess the emcee got a little irritated with all of the camera flashes and sickly sweet smiles as most of the population actually just spent half their time taking pictures. no one really bothered about the prom king and queen thing anyway.. i swear i yawned once or twice throughout the entire event. bah!
the only good thing about it is the people-watching i suppose? it's fun fun fun to see people dress up. i must say everyone looked really nice. ((: no one, to my knowledge, dressed horrendously. and that is, i suppose, the best way to sum up what was a really mundane night out. especially when i had my hair so nicely done. ):
that's a once-in-a-lifetime thing okay!
anyway, i, like many others before me (it's a time-old tradition thing), took lots of pictures and i'll just post them up maybe sometime later when everyone has recovered from their hangover or is awake enough to pass me the pictures online. i'll be posting up graduation photos too. (:
there is no other time better for reminiscing than the present anyway..
anyway, my poor dear Justin had a bad time today. he didn't particularly like the standing-around-and-doing nothing thing we were doing for half hour or so after the prom. he apparently doesn't like to wait very much. haha. poor thing. it's okay! ((: we'll be meeting up again tmr at the cafe. maybe he'll feel better after a good night's sleep. i will! haha. (:
well, i guess i should be sleeping soon.. thanks to the girls who did hair+make-up with me this afternoon, i could have otherwise experienced one of the most mundane prom experiences ever.
i didn't even win an ipod for goodness' sake.
