hello y'all.
don't mind me if i've not blogged for ages yet, because i keep wanting to live up these last few days before my attachment begins on the 8th.
yes yes, i know i'm at fault to begin with, since i applied to the attachment myself, so no complains over here..
how was New Year's Day for everyone? i must say, i had quite an exciting New Years. yep. lazing on the couch watching Ashton Kutcher drive himself silly on VCD quite sums up my entire 2006, non? i'm just glad this 2006 has ended and 2007 has begun i guess. it's definitely going to be a year of changes, whether i do well for my A's or not (touch wood).
so today, Kai and I had to run an errand near Raffles Place and guess who got us lost? why, dear Kai herself. what exactly is with the "if i'm lost, then i just walk straight" philosophy?! gosh, that woman drives me mad sometimes. X) after alighting from Raffles Place, we intended after our errand to go to the National Library. and where does she take me? oh.. Tanjong Pagar MRT. do you know that's FOUR stops away from Bugis and the National Library?! aaargh, to think i walked that distance in heels. i resolve to get back at her some day.. :)) HAH.
regrattably, i think such situations are bound to arise aplenty now that our fares have been changed to adult fares. damn. who knows what will happen if someone decides to take a walk through the urban unknown since it is, admittedly, cheaper??
anyhow, it was first day of school today for almost everyone.., except me and the rest of the ex-JC kids. sigh. after 12 gruelling years of education, it seems almost like a dream come true when i don't have to return to school any longer on the 3rd of January. think: it will no longer hold any significant meaning from this year onwards. how exhilarating! :)
Kai and I were discussing our future today.. i contemplated teaching but, err, judging from my not-so-kindly view towards school right now, i don't see myself ever wanting to become a teacher, seriously. doesn't anyone ever feel confined within the school? i don't ever want to go back to that depressing feeling of confinement actually.. well. i'll think about it.
anyway, enough about my ramblings. i just finished watcing the replay of the Arsenal-Charlton game! gosh, i swear v.Persie's getting better with every match. :) i don't like the way he dives though. very Robben-like and totally NOT to my liking. siggggh. but, you'd have to admit, on other fronts, he's doing pretty well. he's eager for the ball and though he squanders loads of chances, he still manages to put some important goals away spectacularly. that's my boy. X) a bit shocking to see him carry Henry up though. i find i tend to underestimate the strength of the male species, although you have to admit that a slight person like v.Persie does not look like he has much strength. haha. :p
okay, enough for the night. i have, err, about 10 books to finish before the 8th. gosh. better start on them soon.
night everyone!
