have you noticed how the temperatures have dived these past few days? now, i rarely get to say say such sentences, being a Singaporean and all but whoa: it's been cold these few days don't you think?
this unusually cold period has, unfortunately, aided the dreaded existence of my cold and that is why i still am bitterly coughing right now when i should have recovered days ago. :/
typically, i would have been jumping for joy at the weather because i do so like the cold. siggggh. even if i can't really experience much of the weather when i'm stuck in the freezing museum stapling worksheets together. yes, waddya' know, the only significant task i remember doing today is stapling a whole stack of worksheets together. that ranks up there with buying food for the rest of the department and err stamping tickets alright. gosh, it feels like slave labour.
i suppose i've become what i've always scorned (and never thought i would be) : a worker bee, like how many Singaporeans are, scurrying to and fro from work each day, shoving and pushing past everyone on buses and trains, trying their damndest to impress their superiors and striving to be what we've always been known for - efficient. damn. and, just like a worker bee, i have an almost zilch social life, the only bright spot being the celebration we're having tomorrow for Kai.
YAY! that's cause to celebrate. haha. *shrugs* we take what we get i suppose. :)
looking forward to it. haven't tried out NYNY before so i hope the first time will be impressive.
meanwhile, before i get some much-needed sleep, i just wanna thank Justin for being there on saturday. you don't wanna talk about it but i want to. what you did meant something to me, however embarrassing it was for me. haha. you were there when it mattered and i won't forget it. thanks babe! :))
