it's Valentine's day!!
and although having a nice dinner out with Justin tonight is good enough for me, i think it's really very sweet how this day is being celebrated here in Singapore. :)
okay, so mebbe i'm looking at everything through rose-tinted glasses, but so what? i love the busy florists lining the floors with huge bouquets of flowers of every kind, i love the gaudy heart-shaped balloons that some starry-eyed girls are carrying, i even love the pained look on some of the men's faces when i see them scurrying about during lunchtime, obviously trying to get everything perfect for tonight. haha! it's all so sweet that finally some men learn not to take their other halves for granted for at least for ONE day. and this one day is good enough for me i guess. :)
it is cute to know that he thinks i won't like my present. but i think Justin forgets sometimes that extravagance is not everything. in fact, it may count to nothing if your heart's not in it, no? so it's simple, really. whether or not he gives me flowers won't ruin the entire date. it's his presence that counts more than anything. haha. mushy huh? X)
it's just another hour till he sees what i've got for him! YAY.
will tell you if we managed to get a seat when i reach home. :))
