okay so i guess you can't tell but this is Bagan, as mentioned in a previous blog post. perhaps you can see more pagodas in the light of the dusk in these two pictures.

errr. this looks like a painting huh? err. if i'm not wrong, this is still Bagan. damn but it's cold there. about 15 degrees celsius at night. they don't have streetlamps too so it's pitch dark and cold at night. haha. cool huh.
hmmm. this is at Inle, in the Shan state, which is somewhere in central Myanmar. very pretty lake and the best part is that the lake is, on average, 2-3m deep! so yeah, i wasn't that scared when i sat on those thin and fragile-looking power boats. these people you see here are sorta fishermen. they catch fish and gather seaweed to sell. by the way, it's even colder here, since it's a lake and all. my legs froze at night. :(
