Here's my little cousin! ahhh! he looks so cute in blue. :) my sis took this with her handphone but err it's not very good to have the phone around him. he's in his teething stage you see. :/
am starting only now to post pictures of that trip to Myanmar a couple of months ago. uhh. yeah, i know, a little late. this picture is really cool huh? we visited lots of temples and ruins that very much attests to the fact that the Burmese are very devout Buddhists. this pagoda you see was the highlight of our time spent at Yangon. it's beautiful in the light of the dusk.
this picture was taken in Bagan, the old capital of Myanmar. I don't know whether you can see from here but there are dozens of smaller pagodas that may be seen in the midst of all those trees and vegetation. we took this picture atop a larger pagoda, along with many other trigger-happy (i mean cameras) tourists. surprisingly enough, there were loads of angmoh tourists there. not too many asians. the picture doesn't do this scene credit though. a guidebook once described this scene from atop a pagoda, at sunset, as "otherworldly". :)

if i'm not wrong this picture was also taken at Bagan at the same place but at a different angle. sigggh. it really is beautiful there. the country, at certain places, just feels so untouched that i feel as if i had stepped back into time. there were times that i felt as if i was intruding too. it is amazing. i loved my time there. :))
